Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention (STGCC) 2013 is certainly upping it’s game this year, with not one, but two awesome cosplayers.

Just this morning, it was announced that Aza, formerly known as SPCats Miyuko, will be coming to this little red dot for the first time.

According to STGCC, she’ll be cosplaying a League character at the con as well as Kotori from Love Live!, so if you’re a fan, you know just exactly which costumes to look out for.

We’ve also got wind that our friends at Namco Bandai have a treat for all Tales fans. Tales series general producer Hideo Baba will be on stage this time round, and from what we know, there’s going to be something special for those who come in Tales cosplay.

Of course, there’s also tons in store for comic and toy collectors, and even a music segment! For a full list of guests, check out the STGCC page here!

Media Announcement - Go MAD with Joe Madureira at STGCC 2013

Uncanny X-Men art, used with permission.

Don’t know ’bout you guys, but I’ve been a big fan of Joe Madureira’s work since I first got my hands on Battle Chasers in 1998. That’s why the fact that Joe’s coming to Singapore for Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) this year’s really big.

Joe’s a renowned Marvel Comics book writer/artist who’s worked on  Marvel Comics’ Uncanny X-Men, and was also involved in the creative team for Darksiders (yes, Darksiders).

From what we know, Joe will be here for the first time at STGCC, and will be joining the Walk of Fame to get up-close and personal with his fans. He will be bringing along some surprises as well, exclusively for fans only.

Personally, I can’t wait to meet him to get my Battle Chasers boxed set autographed. :3

The event’s less than two months away! Be sure to check out the official STGCC website and Facebook page for more information.

Every year, we put out a video featuring cosplayers at STGCC, and this year’s no different.

So here it is, and it’s the product of hours of blood, sweat and tears by our much abused resident Pack Elk, who sacrificed hours of potential cosplay fun to put this video together. (It’s…it’s not like I’m praising him or admitting that he’s super duper awesome and dedicated or anything).

So enjoy, and be sure to let us know if you’re one of the cosplayers featured in it!
